A swan song, maybe, for an artist’s whimsical pieces


Kevin Rose, who manages the Western Art Forum gallery in downtown Billings, says Jerry Cornelia will be the featured artist during the Feb. 3 Winter ArtWalk for two reasons. New downtown art gallery plans open house Thursday


Tucked into a corner just inside the front door of the Western Art Forum, a new gallery in downtown Billings, is an elegant blue easy chair. Gallery owner Kira Fercho, an artist known for her vibrant oil paintings, designed the chair and said it represents the kind of art—slightly Western but also mid-century modern—she wants to display and sell at the gallery. Red Lodge gallery owner moves to downtown Billings


After operating an art gallery in Red Lodge for three years, Tyler Murphy was ready for a change.
